Things I like: Tacky Aldo Purses

I have a bag problem, I LOVE bags. What I love even more than regular purses is tacky, statement purses. Recently, Aldos came out with a line of statement purses. I love all of them! What's even better is that they are ALL ON SALE! Seriously, I'm pretty sure all of them are now $20-30 . Seriously. I think I might have to buy them all.
This one is was the first one to catch my eye! I can't think of an occasion when I could wear it, but I still want it!

I couldn't see myself wearing this one, but I still think its pretty awesome!
I've been seeing perfume purses around lately, but this one is actually affordable, and by affordable I mean I could buy one with my lunch money.

 

This  candy heart purse is so cute! It comes in pastel yellow and pink as well!!


Which one is your favourite? I think I might get the first one!

Things I love and a hello!

Hello everyone! I know I've been in hibernation mode for the past couple months. I've been busy with getting ready for finals and then Christmas happened. Which means I've spent that last two weeks eating enough food to feed a small village.

I have some exciting stuff coming soon! Traveler's Tree will be getting our own website! Woot! As well, the etsy shop will be getting new items soon! I've been working on some really neat stuff.

For now, here are some things I might have to buy with my christmas money. What's that Grandma? You mean you wanted me to spend that money on textbooks? Damn.

This aquamarine ring is so amazing! I love the double band with the stone between, so lovely.

I need this clock, I love anything with a moon on it, and this clock is perfect!

This talented lady makes paper art, this beetle is insane! I love it. You can find her artwork here.

Picnic Essentials

Picnics in summer are like peanut butter and jelly. If you don't go on one atleast once a year then you need to start! It's a fun date idea or just with friends, and it doesn't cost much! Here is my list of picnic essentials. 

You can't have a picnic without a lovely picnic blanket.

Or a picnic basket!

Lemon aid is the perfect drink.



And you can't drink lemon aid without teacups!


I love bringing fancy sandwichs on picnics.

And some beautiful plates to eat them on! Paper plates are a less environmentally friendly option as well



Fresh berries! Hmmmm.

And finally cake! Because nothing is complete without cake.

First Aid Kit: Lion's Roar

First Aid Kit is a Swedish folk duo, and one of my favourite bands for that past couple years. They make great music, have beautiful strong voices and know how to dress. The Lion's Roar is a song I've been playing a lot recently, and if you have the chance I would strongly recommend checking out the video for it. In fact, check out all their music videos.
