Tarmasz is an artist based out of Paris, France. She is an illustrator and tattoo artist who creates folky, dreamy work. I would fly to Paris JUST to get tattooed by her. (I have a running list in my head of global artists I want to ink me!). Here are my favourite tattoos that she has done, I LOVE the cuckoo clock one.
I'm a huge fan of diy, not only because it's fun and affordable, but also because I like having things in my house that I MADE, not bought. It makes me love the piece so much more than if I had bought it from the store. Here are some beaaauutiful DIY to sprucen up your wall!
This is supposed to be fabric, but I think that it'd make such a lovely wall tapestry.
I love This fiesta banner! I'm a big fan of all-year-round banner hanging. This foil wall is so neat! It is a little more difficult than the rest, but I think it'd totally be worth it!
I know I'm going to have to do some sundying this weekend, what are you going to do? Cheers!
Well, not really. But I can now ask for a cup of coffee or glass of wine properly with an iffy accent, as well as tell someone I am a boy, girl or man. I've always wanted to learn a second language - specifically German or Russian. After doing some research and finding out that Russian is one of the hardest languages to learn, I decided on Deutsch (German).
I am going to be honest, I did absolutely zilch research on the best online program for learning German. I tried Duolingo, and I've enjoyed it so far, but I wanted to learn more about sentence structure, so I then started doing Memrise. I LOVE it, it uses memory techniques to help you, well, remember. It has really helped me. TONS. I use both memrise and duolingo now but memrise is my main go to.
Who here is more skilled than I am and know more than one language??
Anton Konashuk is a photographer who creates wonderful stories. If you have yet to see Konashuk, prepare to be amazed! His work is so beautiful and raw and full of emotions. See all his other work here.
This set is my favourite one, it tells such a sad, lovely story. (The story sort of reminds me of a one night stand!)
I love, love, love the last one. What do you think?
For the past year or so, I've been seeing pictures of tiny houses everywhere! I always liked the idea, but though "I'd never be able to live in a tiny house!" AND THEN I REALIZED I LIVE IN A TINY HOUSE. Well, apartment technically. We live in a bachelor apartment that's smaller then most tiny houses i've seen!
The main thing is that it is an open concept. Sure, you've got little space, but any sized place can feel small depending on how you use the space. You could have a giant house but if it's filled to the brim with dressers and couches and tables, with those tops being cluttered with silly things,it's going to feel small. If you have less stuff and keep things tidy, it really doesn't matter how small a place you live in. I've been living here for a year and a half, and my old bedroom at my moms still looks like someone lives there, because I didn't bring stuff I don't need, and I have never missed anything! Except maybe my mom.
Anyways, I got a little carried away. Here are some tiny houses I've been loving.
This week's list of things I love, I'm loving even more than usual! Every item I took a good ten minutes deciding if I should buy it (Psst, I bought the print! The skirt and banner are going into my birthday wishlist.) I found everything on Etsy, I rarely shop anywhere else now! It's an addiction....but I'm getting help I swear!
This print is going on my wall, I love it. This necklace is so stunning! I'm thinking viking warrior bohemian princess. This wooden mountain is a ring holder! I love the minimalism feel to it,
This is so lovely! It's on my birthday wish list. Check out the rest of the shop, everything is beautiful!
THIS. I am so in love with this!! It's a little bit pricey though *sigh*.
It's a love/hate relationship I have with Thing's I Love day. I want to buy everything! What are your favourites?!
